This year, why not have a Green Christmas (Really!) as in environmentally friendly. Since being aware of the ecology and saving our planet is the thing now, why not put it to use? Yes, it is still ok to buy a Christmas tree but when you are done with it, recycle it. Either follow the plan in your community to have it recycled or take it someplace where it can decompose without being in a landfill.
You can also buy eco-friendly products as you would. Look for gift ideas that are pleasing to people and help our environment. There are so many more products out that work with the ecology. Everything from perfumes to furniture, decorations to household cleaning products can be so much more eco-friendly than they used to be.
